There were thirteen new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on September 11, bringing the total to 1,688 reported cases. The new cases were located in the Far North East (1), Saskatoon (4), Central East (7) and Regina (1) zones.
Of the 1,688 reported cases, 66 were considered active. A total of 1,598 people recovered.
Two people were in hospital and received inpatient care in Saskatoon.
Investigations completed thus far found 19 of 66 active cases were situated in communal living settings.
Also, the Saskatchewan Health Authority notified the public about an individual who tested COVID-19 positive and visited the Regina International Airport when the individual was likely infectious on September 6.
A COVID-19 positive person deplaned at the airport at 9:30 p.m. September 6, 2020, collected luggage and left the airport at 10 p.m. The person was on Air Canada flight 7947, arriving from Toronto.
