The co-branding of the new Curves/Jenny Craig Regina location has resulted in the first brick and mortar location to pull double duty: encouraging women to take back a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise.
Tracy Thompson with Curves/Jenny Craig Regina and Sharon Leguee with Weyburn Curves are excited about their new partnership that will bring this initiative to Weyburn.
Thompson has spoken with women and men all over Saskatchewan, especially in the rural areas. She believes that options for dieting in rural Saskatchewan are lacking and she wants to empower people to be their best version of themselves. “It’s really opened up and we’ve seen a lot of rural Saskatchewan people have great success on Jenny Craig, so that’s why we’re bringing it to Weyburn,” says Thompson.
With this new partnership, the Jenny Craig clients can now have frozen meals shipped to the UPS location or their home or their Curves location depending on their street address. Thompson and Laguee this is a great partnership as diet and exercise go hand in hand!
Clients will receive huge added value with Thompson’s coaching for the diet component, while Curves Weyburn works with clients for an active lifestyle. Curves strength training program offers a variety of classes, 30 minute total body workout — all while having a coach in the circuit.
Jenny Craig has been around since 1980 and has provided prescriptive portion controlled meals for women and men, as well as the tools to help everyone transition to maintaining their health.
“It is not about forever being on Jenny Craig,” says Thompson, “but moving on to healthy living while maintaining the weight that was lost with Jenny Craig.”
“We are empowering people to start their weight loss journey, feel successful, move into their own food, and continue working out with the guidance and help of our new partnership.”
