Weyburn EMT Jason Schmidt carefullyl drives his scooter through a course set up in the courtyard of the Weyburn City Centre Mall on Aug. 11, while in the background at left, Mayor Debra Button just finishes up the course. The medical scooter program was put on jointly by Sun Country Health Region and the Weyburn Police Service, with information and safety tips provided, along with the chance for people to try out a scooter to see how they work.
