The Estevan office of Envision Counselling and Support Centre will host a Women’s Empowerment Group for ten weeks, starting April 5.
This group is for women who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. The sessions are only available to those 18 years and older.
The Women’s Empowerment Group will run Tuesdays from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. This group will provide a nurturing and supportive environment to explore topics such as triggers, self-care, flashbacks, grounding techniques and resiliency, among others.
It will be a safe place for participants to come together and have their voice heard. The sessions will be offered free of charge, but pre-registration is required.
