ESTEVAN - Members of the Estevan Police Service dealt with a collision and a speeding motorist on Tuesday.
Emergency crews attended to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of King Street and Spruce Drive. There were no reported injuries after Estevan EMS attended and checked the vehicle occupants. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to the amount of damage. The matter is still under investigation.
Police received a complaint through the Report Impaired Drivers line in relation to a speeding vehicle. The vehicle was located travelling 140 kilometres an hour in a 100 km/h zone.
The motorist was issued a driver’s licence suspension for a speeding ticket and consumption of THC, and the vehicle was seized.
Police also attended a residence in the northwest area of the city for a noise complaint. The homeowner was spoken to and warned of the bylaw.
