The Estevan Police Service (EPS) issued 16 Criminal Code chargers on Dec. 16 against a 29-year-old Estevan man following a four-month investigation.
Phillip Vanduzee is facing seven charges of fraud, seven charges of uttering a forged document, one charge of possession of property obtained by crime, and one charge of theft under $5,000.
He is already wanted by the Estevan Police Service on other matters and warrants will be issued for his arrest.
The man is believed to be in the Regina area.
No further information was immediately released by the EPS.
In other recent police news, police had reports of vehicles being egged on Dec. 15. Two of the vehicles were in the 1400-block of Third Street and the other one is believed to have been in the 1400-block of Second Street. If anyone has any information or saw anything suspicious, please call Crime Stoppers or the Estevan Police Service.
Officers arrested a 58-year-old Estevan man for assault. He was on parole and conditions in Estevan. Due to the assault his parole was revoked.
Police arrested a 22-year-old Estevan man for mischief to property. He will be released later in the day on conditions and will appear in court in February.
