Members of the Estevan Police Service made an arrest for violating a release order on the weekend.
Police apprehended a 57-year-old man Saturday for failing to comply with a release order after he was observed to be contact with a female he was to have no contact with. The man was lodged in cells and appeared in front of a justice of the peace on Sunday.
Officers investigated a report of other individuals being in breach of their release conditions. At this time no charges have been laid and the matter is still under review.
Police received a call Sunday to assist staff at a local care facility. The individual left the facility with no issues.
Officers were called to attend a local facility for a report of people refusing to comply with provincial mask regulations. Members attended and spoke with all parties. The subjects of the complaint left without incident.
