Giovanna Palhares Pinto, at right, lines up for some fresh-cooked East Coast lobster with her sister Giulia and mother Ana Paula, who came to visit Giovanna from Sao Paulo, Brazil, for a week. Giovanna is in Weyburn for the school year as an exchange student with the Rotary Club of Weyburn. This was her family’s first time to ever taste lobster, as they attended the Rotary Club’s Lobsterfest fundraiser on Saturday evening at the Weyburn Legion Hall. Giovanna’s family spent about a week in Toronto and area before coming to see their sister and daughter, and they have visited a number of points in Saskatchewan, including the Tunnels of Moose Jaw, spending some time in Regina and being hosted by Rotary members at a barbecue.
