The skies are lit up brightly with lightning just east of Weyburn after the first thunderstorm of the summer season blew through the Weyburn area on Thursday evening. The storm dropped about 8 millimetres of rain, adding to the significant rainfall amounts received recently in the last couple of weeks, bringing smiles to many gardeners and area farmers, who are largely finished seeding this year’s crops.
