Five more new cases of COVID-19 for Estevan’s Zone 4

ESTEVAN - There are five more cases of COVID-19 to report in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan, according to the provincial COVID-19 dashboard on Aug. 13.

With no new recoveries, 65 cases of COVID-19 in Zone 4 are now considered active.

There is also one new case in South East Zone 1 to the northwest of the region; seven new cases in South East Zone 2, which is to the north of Estevan’s zone, and one new case in South East Zone 3, which includes Weyburn.

After two recoveries, the South East region has 101 active cases. Two people are in the hospital receiving inpatient care.

Saskatchewan reported 125 new cases. After 22 recoveries 893 cases are considered active. Seventy-three people are hospitalized, which is four up in comparison to the day before.

There were 2,195 tests processed in the province, including 128 in South East on Aug. 12.

And another 2,539 doses of vaccine have been administered in Saskatchewan. Included in the total are 160 doses administered in the South East.
