Young skippers from Hillcrest School were preparing for the Jump Rope for Heart event by organizing their various team stations and limbering up for the two-hour skipping marathon.
The team consisted of back row, from left, Chelsea Dekok and Chantel Bonokoski, along with, front row, Pamela McClelland, Jenna Harris, Tiffany Densley and Lindsey Vicary.
The school raised over $3,000 in pledges for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in the process.
