REGINA — Regina police have laid charges against a fourth individual, as investigation into a December homicide in the city continues.
A 26-year-old Grenfell man is the fourth suspect now charged with second degree murder, related to the death of Harvey Beatty, 22, from Prince Albert.
Beatty was discovered deceased in a Regina park on Dec. 16, where emergency services and EMS were already on scene.
Police identified Beatty as the victim, before arresting and laying charges against a 41-year-old Regina man and 30-year-old Regina woman about a month later, in connection to the homicide.
A third suspect, a 24-year-old man from Regina, was also taken into custody and charged in February.
All four suspects have now been charged with second degree murder, contrary to Seciton 235(1) of the Criminal Code.
The fourth individual was arrested on March 24 by Regina police and made his first appearance in court on this charge earlier this morning.
