A family fun event is being planned as a fundraiser for Kevin and Crystal Cornish and family, to continue assisting them with their expenses as they care for their son Nolan.
The group is planning for an event on Nolan’s birthday, Thursday, May 17, at the fellowship hall at the Weyburn Free Methodist Church, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
This will be a family-friendly party with bouncy houses, face-painting, hot dogs and cupcakes with ice cream. Residents of all ages are encouraged to come out if they would like to support the Cornish family.
The organizers are asking if anyone is willing to donate cupcakes or ice cream for the fundraiser, contact Jenn Isaak at [email protected].
All money received will be donated to Kevin and Crystal Cornish. Any cheques that are donated should be made payable directly to them.
The Cornish family had been in Edmonton for a few months while Nolan received surgery and then needed time for recovery, and Nolan has since been moved to a hospital in Saskatoon to continue his recovery and receive additional surgery.
