Brittany Barber is happy as she clutches a stuffed animal and receives a book, both from Santa, as he paid a visit to the many small children attending the “Messy Christmas” family event at Grace United Church on Nov. 29. There were many activities set up for families to enjoy, such as listening to a story, hearing a children’s choir sing, making Christmas tree ornaments, before Santa dropped in for a visit. The event wrapped up with a pizza supper.
