A group of girls from Assiniboia Park School take on some Red Wings in a pickup game of mini-sticks hockey at the school’s Homework Carnival held on Wednesday evening. The students include, from left, Shelby Williamson, Sara Kelln with the ball and Allie Gawryluik, with Wings player Ian Parker reaching over to try and get the ball as teammates Mason Anderson, No. 24, and Jeremy Lagler watch at the far end. There were games and activities set up throughout the school, with many games for students to have fun at along with their families.
