The Grade 9 Art classes participated in the SCIC (Saskatchewan Council for International Co-operation) Global Citizenship Art Contest and were selected as winners in the high school category.
St. Michael School was awarded a $1,000 prize package to work towards future Art program initiatives to help continue to focus on development of students as global citizens.
The students of teacher Jari Fleck's 9-18 Art class were selected for their collaborative works that focus on raising awareness of human trafficking.
They were presented with a prize package valued at $1,000 by Amy Bosche, Education Program Coordinator from SCIC.
