One of the most well-known sites in Torquay is gone.
The east grain elevator burned down during the overnight hours. No other buildings were damaged due to the flames.
Members of the Torquay Fire Department and the Estevan Fire Rescue Service responded to the fire and were still at the scene Wednesday morning.
