Many of the Pangman students entered their school work in the Ogema Fair school work competition. The winning school work will be awarded prize money and were on display at the fair on July 8 in the Ogema rink. Any prize money won will be awarded to the students in the fall.
There will be three children starting kindergarten in the fall.
The Grades 10-12 Pangman students went on a field trip to Fort Walsh in the Grasslands National Park. While there the students experienced the historically accurate Metis fur traders cabin and Fort Walsh as it was in the 1870’s. After a day at Fort Walsh the class spent the night at the historical Reesor ranch which was established in the Cypress Hills over 100 years ago.
The Pangman school students will return to classes in the fall on Tuesday, Sept. 5 and the kindergarten will begin on Sept. 6.
Parry will be hosting their first annual street dance on Saturday, July 15, with gates to open at 7:30 p.m., with a cash bar and barbecue. Advance tickets are $10, and at the gate is $15. No minors will be allowed.
