A group of interns for HELP International, two of them from Edmonton and the others from Malaysia, sit with executive director Rodney Sidloski on the edge of a new 10,000-cubic-metre reservoir created on HELP’s new quarter-section of land in the RM of Weyburn. This will be filled up with spring runoff water and used for irrigation of the trees that will be planted on the land as part of HELP’s ongoing tree farming operation. The interns from Malaysia have been in Canada about three weeks, and are forestry students, so will help Sidloski in sharing their knowledge about trees.
