The 2015 WorkSafe Saskatchewan Safe Employer award was handed out in a ceremony in Saskatoon on March 23. Key Well Servicing Ltd. of Weyburn was one of the top three finalists for the prestigious award.
The award is geared towards the most progressive organizations which recognize the importance of protecting their most valuable resource - their workforce. Criteria includes that the organization strive to create healthier and safer workplaces by implementing safety management programs.
R.H. Electric of Yorkton was chosen as winner this year with the two finalists being Key Well Servicing Ltd. of Weyburn and Matrix Solutions Inc. of Swift Current.
The WorkSafe Saskatchewan Safe Employer award was founded in 2007 and is given to an employer who shows leadership in health and safety above and beyond the requirements of the industry and legislation.
