KFC rally

Patrons pack in to every spare bit of space as the KFC restaurant is filled to capacity on Wednesday, as area residents showed their support for the restaurant to keep its buffet. The rally attracted the attention of media outlets from Regina, with a group of executives from KFC’s headquarters in Toronto on hand to see the support of the community. The buffet will stay open “for now”, but there was no guarantee given that it will remain open. This is one of only two in Canada in KFC restaurants, and was introduced when owner Larie Semen opened the franchise in 1988.
