Lake Alma — Lake Alma held a “Mud Drag” on July 8. There were stock trucks, super stock, modified, and an open class. There was a concession and a beer gardens also.
Tom and Linda Clausen enjoyed lunch with Ashley Vaksdal in Estevan on June 23. Ashley was traveling from Toronto, where she has been attending school, to her home in Calgary. She obtained her Masters in Social work while in Toronto.
Gage Marshall, son of Gwenda and Greg Marshall and grandson of Pat and Dale Petersen, graduated from Grade 12 at Weyburn Comprehensive, and on June 28 he was sworn in to the Canadian Armed Forces.
He is now an officer cadet and will be leaving for his basic training in Montreal on July 8.
