A group of Physics 30 students, Lindee Larson, Taherra Dodd and Maison Laird, watch as their mini catapult launches a marshmallow at a hula hoop target 3.75 metres away. This was the final test in their projectile motion project on Thursday; the students had three attempts to land their marshmallow in a target, plus they had to do calculations on the velocity and angle, backed up by the test launch to verify their calculations. Their data table had to include time of flight, distance and angle of launch.
