Jane's Walk

Lindsay Manko-Bauche, at right, stopped the group taking part in the Jane’s Walk on Sunday to point out a historically-interesting home, the Powell residence, on Fourth Street South. She is the local coordinator for the second annual Jane’s Walk, which is a free citizen-led walking conversation to explore the history and lore of the local neighbourhoods and help residents learn more about their local history. Around 40 people came out for the walk which began at the Signal Hill Arts Centre, went down to River Park, and then came back up on Third Street to end back at the arts centre, with stops along the way to share stories.
