Couples danced 50s style to the song, “Let’s Go To the Hop”, played by the Moose Jaw band, The Bromantics, during the Sock Hop held on Saturday evening as a fundraiser for the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation at McKenna Hall. The 1950s-styled event raised money towards the equipment fund being built up by the Hospital Foundation for a new acute-care hospital for Weyburn.
