Bolts of lightning streaked across the sky over Weyburn on July 10, as a thunderstorm passed through Weyburn late in the evening, dropping about 21.4 mm of rain in the city, and varying amounts around the region as it moved swiftly through. Throughout the province, there were about four tornadoes reported by Environment Canada, and there were reports of hail and wind damage as well.
