Weyburn’s skies were lit up with colourful bursts of light on Sunday night as the City of Weyburn put on a fireworks show to help celebrate Canada Day, with spectators lining blocks in the area and all along Highway 39 to watch. The City had also put on a full day of activities to celebrate Canada’s birthday at the Weyburn Leisure Centre, including free swimming, a pancake breakfast, craft activities, bouncy houses, a magic show and a barbecue.
