Lomond 4-H Beef Club held its new year organizational meeting November 4 at Oungre Park. The 2013-14 leaders are Kelly Ashworth, Rod Robinson and Brittany Stepp.

Lomond 4-H Beef Club held its new year organizational meeting November 4 at Oungre Park. The 2013-14 leaders are Kelly Ashworth, Rod Robinson and Brittany Stepp.

The election of officers was held and Kaylee McKenzie was elected president, while vice-president is Owen Ashworth, secretary will be Alexis Ashworth and Shane McKenzie is treasurer while Jaxon Ward is the reporter.

The club has 14 members this year with Josh Alexander as a new junior.

At the meeting, membership fees, new shirts for showing, a steak fry slave auction fundraiser and Agribition were discussed.

The meeting ended with a club mixer activity headed up by Brittany Stepp.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 2 at Oungre Park. New members are welcome.
