The Town of Midale will not have to turn off its water supply Monday night.
In a Facebook post Monday morning, the town said that due to the dangerously low levels of water in the reservoir, the town would be shutting the water off from 10 p.m. Monday night to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The town asked people to keep their eyes open for an unusual amount of water where there shouldn't be, in case there is a leak they are unaware of.
The town wanted to know if the issues are in the plant or if it is a leak on one of the distribution lines.
But in a post at 5:04 p.m., the town said it won’t have to shut down the water plant as previously posted. The town is still experiencing lower than usual water levels in the reservoir so they are asking that people please use water sparingly.
“We will continue to monitor the situation and hopefully we can get through this without a complete shutdown.”
