Some towns and villages in the Weyburn region held elections on Wednesday, for those positions that were not acclaimed on nomination day.

In the Village of Pangman, there was an election for the mayor and council with a large slate of candidates taking part.
The new mayor Pangman is Darlene Kessler, and the council members are Charlie Larson, Doug Lewgood, Wanda Sambrook and Lori Wolstenholme.
For the Village of Creelman, there were five candidates for four council positions, with the following councillors elected: Justin Churko, 43 votes; Jason Decker, 44; Kim Lockie, 39 votes; Joel Verville, 44 votes, and Angie Campbell had nine votes.
The mayor is Gordon Kolosh by acclamation.
In the Village of Fillmore, Lorne Johnston was defeated, receiving 32 votes, as Dean Hanson (88 votes), Ava Dunham (85 votes), Verla Hovind (83 votes) and Jason Smith (75 votes) were elected as councillors, joining Mayor Marvin Chambers, who was acclaimed.
Stoughton had an election for mayor, with incumbent Bill Knous winning with 151 votes to 87 votes for Tom Sangster.
In the Village of Goodwater, there were four candidates for two council positions, and the new councillors are Brad Ernst and Perry Pelchat. Mayor Greg Collins was acclaimed.
