Michael and Ramona Harristhal of Minneapolis, Minn., tour the Soo Line Historical Museum on Wednesday, including having a look at the quilt show which has been put on display for the Weyburn Wheat Festival, to be held from Thursday, Aug. 7 to Sunday, Aug. 10. The couple toured the museum on their very first visit to the Canadian prairies, and came through heading east after visiting Grasslands National Park and Assiniboia before coming to Weyburn. The museum will host the bread-baking contest, as well as selling homemade bread and pie on Friday and Saturday of the Wheat Festival.
