There are 111 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Nov. 12, bringing the provincial total to date to 4,437 cases.
Seven of the cases are in the southeast region, but none of the cases are in Southeast Zone 4, which includes Estevan. Four cases are in Southeast Zone 1, which is to the northwest of Zone 4, and three cases are in Zone 3, which is to the west of Zone 4.
Sixty-two cases in the southeast are considered active. Eighteen of those cases are in Zone 4.
Ninety-eight cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in the southeast since mid-March.
As for the rest of the province, there are 25 cases from the Regina region, 24 from the Saskatoon region, five from the far northwest, eight from the far north central, six from the far northeast, seven in the northwest, eight in the north central, seven in the central east, four in the southwest and five in the south central.
Five new cases have pending residence information. One case reported Nov. 10 with pending residence information has been assigned to the Regina zone.
Of the 4,437 reported cases, 1,459, or about 33 per cent, are considered active.
Fifteen more people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,949, or about 66.5 per cent of those diagnosed.
Forty-nine people are in hospital. Thirty-six people are receiving inpatient care: one in the far northwest, one in the northwest, five in north central, three in the northeast, 20 in Saskatoon, three in Regina, one in the southwest and two in the southeast.
Thirteen people are in intensive care; one in the northwest, two in north central, seven in Saskatoon, two in central east and one in Regina.
Twenty-nine people have died from COVID-19 in Saskatchewan.
A total of 2,145 COVID-19 tests were processed in Saskatchewan on Wednesday.
