The number of active cases of COVID-19 in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan, declined on June 14.
There are no COVID-19 cases in Zone 4 to report on Monday, and two new recoveries, which brings the number of active cases down to seven.
There was one new COVID case in the South East region, located in Zone 1, to the northwest of Zone 4.
There are 55 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on June 14, bringing the provincial total to 47,996 cases.
The other new cases are located in the following zones: Far North West, 1; Far North East, 1; North West, 4; North Central, 2; Saskatoon, 23; Central West, 3; Central East, 3; Regina, 12; South West, 2; and South Central, 3.
One new death is being reported today in the 80+ age group from the Saskatoon zone.
Another 89 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 46,666. Five new recoveries are from the South East region.
There are 774 cases considered active, including 38 in the South East.
Ninety-five people are in hospital, including two in the South East receiving inpatient care, the same number as June 13. There are 76 people receiving inpatient care in Saskatchewan, and 19 in intensive care.
The seven-day average of new COVID-19 case number is 76 (6.2 per 100,000).
There were 1,691 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on June 13, including 41 from the South East.
An additional 9,928 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 903,442.
Included in the total are 456 vaccines administered in the South East.
Seventy-nine per cent of those over the age of 40 have received their first dose. Seventy-three per cent of those 30+ have received their first dose. Sixty-nine per cent of those 18+ have received their first dose, while sixty-seven per cent of those 12+ have also received their first dose.
Just one per cent more of Saskatchewan adults need to get their first COVID-19 vaccine shot in the coming week in order for the province to begin Step Three – the final phase of its Reopening Roadmap – on July 11.
