WEYBURN - The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce announces that nominations are now being accepted for the Golden Spike Award.
If you know someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the community through their leadership, innovation and volunteer services, please nominate them for the Golden Spike Award.
“The Chamber has been presenting the Golden Spike Award since 1982, and many deserving recipients have received this recognition for their work which helps Weyburn build a strong community, said Chamber Executive Director, Larry Heggs.
“We encourage you to think of a person who exemplifies such qualities as leadership and innovation. The award is open to those of all ages and experience and isn’t limited to those nearing the end of their work career. Each year, we have many excellent nominations to choose from and we look forward to reviewing those nominated in 2022,” added Heggs.
Nomination is due by Friday, March 11th, 2022 and the nomination forms can be picked up at the Chamber office or found online at https://weyburnchamber.com/golden-spike/. The winner of the Golden Spike Award will be presented at the President’s Dinner and Annual General Meeting taking place on March 30, 2022. Watch for details.
