A 30-year-old man who escaped from the Regina Correctional Centre on July 28 is now back in custody.
Shaun William Wilton escaped from the centre while working outside the perimeter fence of the facility. He was arrested last night in Regina.
The matter is now under review to help determine the circumstances of the escape and what could be done to prevent these types of incidents in the future.
Wilton is serving a one year sentence for possession of firearms, failure to comply and possession of stolen property.
