There is one new case of COVID-19 to report in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan, according to the dashboard provided by the Ministry of Health.
Zone 4 now has five active COVID-19 cases.
The case in Zone 4 is one of six in the South East region. Three are in Zone 2, which is north of Zone 4, and two are in Zone 1, to the northwest of Zone 4.
There are 56 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 49,940 cases.
The other new cases are located in the following zones: Far North West, 8; Far North Central, 1; Far North East, 11; North West, 2; North Central, 2; Saskatoon, 13; Central West, 4; Regina, 2; and South Central, 2. Five cases are pending residence information.
No new deaths were reported today.
Twenty-two people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 48,914.
A total of 448 cases are considered active, including 20 in the South East.
There are 46 people in hospital. Thirty-four are receiving inpatient care, including one in the South East. Twelve are in intensive care.
The seven-day average of new COVID-19 case number is 45 (3.8 new cases per 100,000).
There were 1,779 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on July 29, including 85 in the South East.
An additional 5,345 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 1,406,189. There were 526 doses administered in the South East.
Seventy-five per cent of those 12+ have received their first dose and 63 per cent of those 12+ are fully vaccinated.

The provincial government has announced it will provide COVID-19 updates on a weekly basis starting on Aug. 3, but the COVID dashboard will still be updated each day.
