One new case of COVID-19 in Estevan's South East Zone 4

For the first time since June 12, there is a new case of COVID-19 in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan. There are now three active cases of the virus in Zone 4.

For the first time since June 12, there is a new case of COVID-19 in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan.

There are now three active cases of the virus in Zone 4.

The case was one of three new cases of COVID-19 in the South East region reported by the Saskatchewan Health Authority on Saturday. The other two are in South East Zone 3, which includes Weyburn.

There are 55 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on June 19, bringing the provincial total to 48,381 cases.

The other new cases are located in the following zones: Far North West, 2; Far North East, 2; North West, 7; North Central, 1; North East, 2; Saskatoon, 12; Central West, 1; Central East, 5; Regina, 12; South West, 1; and South Central, 3. Four cases are pending residence information.

Another 57 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 47,059. None of the new recoveries are in the South East.

A total of 760 cases are considered active, including 38 in the South East.

There are 82 people in hospital. None of them are in the South East for the second straight day. This marks the first time since late last year that nobody has been in hospital in the South East region. There are 71 people receiving inpatient care, and 11 people are in intensive care in Saskatchewan.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 case number is 71 (5.8 per 100,000).

There were 1,802 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on June 18, including 249 in the South East.
