There is one new COVID-19 case to report in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan, according to information on the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s COVID-19 dashboard.
There were no new recoveries in Zone 4, which leaves the area with 50 active cases.
There is also one new case in South East Zone 2, which is north of Zone 4, and another one in South East Zone 1, to the northwest of Zone 4.
The South East region now has 74 active cases. Seven more people have recovered. Two people are receiving inpatient care in hospital, which is one less than the day before.
Across the province, there are 54 new cases, and 650 active cases. Fifty-five people are in hospital, and 62 more people have recovered.
A total of 41 tests were processed on Aug. 9 in the South East.
And 26 more doses were reported in the region.
