There is one new case of COVID-19 and one new recovery in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan, according to the province’s daily COVID-19 report for July 24.
There are now three active cases of the virus in South East Zone 4.
Prior to July 24, the most recent case of COVID for Zone 4 had been one with pending residence that was assigned on July 22.
The new case for Zone 4 was the only one for the South East region on July 24. There are eight active cases in the South East.
Three more people in the South East have recovered from the virus.
There are 46 new cases to report in Saskatchewan on July 24. There were also 19 more recoveries.
A person from the north central region with COVID-19 has died. A total of 578 people with COVID have died in Saskatchewan.
Sixty-three people are in hospital in Saskatchewan. One person is receiving inpatient care in the South East, the same number as July 23.
There were 1,457 COVID-19 tests processed in the province on July 23, including 36 in the South East.
Another 6,856 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Saskatchewan, including 347 doses in the South East. A total of 1,381,066 doses have now been administered in this province.
