The viewing area of the Cugnet Centre is packed with parents, grandparents and other family members as they watch the school-aged children take the stage during the 33rd annual Communithon. The Weyburn and District United Way hosted the Communithon for 33 hours on Friday and Saturday, to raise funds for its 11 member agencies. A total of $113,635 was raised by the United Way, during its 33-hour fundraiser; and they are expecting more funds to be received before the end of the year. The member agenices will receive allocations in April, 2015.
