Playing ‘The Last Post’ for Remembrance Day

Trumpeter Ruslan Edgarton plays “The Last Post” for those gathered by the cenotaph for the outdoor ceremonies on Remembrance Day, with two minutes of silence following him before “Reveille” was played, and the laying of the wreaths was held.

Trumpeter Ruslan Edgarton plays “The Last Post” for those gathered by the cenotaph for the outdoor ceremonies on Remembrance Day, with two minutes of silence following him before “Reveille” was played, and the laying of the wreaths was held. Following this portion of the ceremonies, the service moved indoors to the upper hall of the Legion for the main part of the ceremonies. Padre John Ferrier was the guest speaker for the service, along with a number of dignitaries.
