Weyburn police received a call regarding an assault in progress at about 4 a.m. on Monday. Once police attended, they learned that a 28-year-old male suspect had fled on foot. At about 9 a.m., the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. He is now facing charges of breaching various court orders and was remanded in custody pending a court appearance in Weyburn on Tuesday.
Weyburn police received a report of erratic driving that was captured on the video surveillance of a business on Sept. 25. Charges under the Traffic Safety Act are pending against a 22-year-old male.
Weyburn police received a complaint from a business of a teen youth who was believed to have shoplifted some merchandise on Sept. 26. Upon review of the surveillance footage, a teen youth has been identified as a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
City police received a report on Friday from a school crossing guard of a vehicle that disobeyed the directions of the crossing guard. Police wish to remind all drivers that it is an offence to disobey a school crossing guard. If the vehicle can be identified, charges will be laid.
Weyburn police received numerous complaints from the Dieppe Drive area on Friday regarding vehicle windshield wipers having been ripped from various vehicles in the area.

City police were contacted on Sept. 25 regarding a teen youth wishing to move from her residence. Through the investigation, an assault was alleged to have occurred. The matter is still under investigation.
Weyburn police were dispatched to a residence regarding a domestic dispute that resulted in each person assaulting the other at about 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday. The matter was mediated without further need for police involvement.
City police received a call of what appeared to be a 19-year-old male passed out on a downtown street at about 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday. Upon attending it was discovered that an intoxicated individual had been riding a bicycle when he lost control falling off. He was treated by EMS with non life-threatening injuries.
Weyburn police received a report of a 26-year-old male having threatened family members on Wednesday. The male was eventually located and has been charged with uttering threats and will be making a court appearance.
Weyburn police received complaints about youth tipping over garbage cans at about 2:30 a.m. on Friday. The responsible group of youth were located and warned. They were compliant in going back and picking up the garbage that had spilled out of the cans.
City police received a call of a possible domestic dispute in progress at about 3:55 a.m. on Friday. It was found that a 24-year-old female and 25-year-old male had a disagreement. The matter was mediated with no further need for police involvement. Alcohol was a contributing factor.
Weyburn police received a call from a medical facility in Regina on Sunday regarding a teen youth who was believed to be in Weyburn and who was threatening self harm. The youth was located and arrangements made with family members to assist him in returning to Regina.
City police received a report of a missing 24-year-old female on Sunday. The female was eventually located.
