City police are investigating a theft of property from a motor vehicle, which occurred sometime during the late evening of Feb. 15 or early morning of Feb. 16 in the Government Road area.

The Weyburn police were dispatched to a local business regarding a suspected shoplifter at about 2:45 p.m. on Feb. 17. While police were present the 17-year-old female was observed to leave the store with property that had not been paid for. She was arrested without incident and is now facing a charge of theft under $5,000.
City police were dispatched to an unrelated business regarding a shoplifting complaint at about 7:20 p.m. on Feb. 17.
As the result of the investigation a 35-year-old male person was taken into custody without incident and an amount of property from the business was recovered at the scene. The male is facing charges of theft under $5,000.
City police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle collision at about 7:40 p.m. on Thursday.Both vehicles were found not to be drivable and were towed from the scene. A 17-year-old male has been issued a traffic ticket for proceeding before it was safe to do so.
Police received a call about and individual threatening to harm himself at about 11:40 p.m. on Saturday. The police subsequently transported a 60-year-old male to the local hospital.
