Police make arrest for violating release conditions

Members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS) arrested one for violating release conditions on Friday. During a traffic stop, members arrested the driver of the vehicle for failing to comply with conditions of a release order.

Members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS) arrested one for violating release conditions on Friday.

During a traffic stop, members arrested the driver of the vehicle for failing to comply with conditions of a release order. He was on conditions to have no contact with one of the occupants of his vehicle.

He was released on further conditions and will make a court appearance in May.

Police received a Report Impaired Drivers call on Thursday. The vehicle was located by the police and the driver was found to not be impaired. The driver was warned about the manner they were operating the vehicle.

A traffic stop was made in east central Estevan on Tuesday, which resulted in a 37-year-old Estevan man being arrested and charged for breaching the conditions of his release order in regard to his curfew and for possession of drugs. He was also charged with possession of methamphetamines. He was held in custody pending his court appearance, which is scheduled for this morning.
