Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of July 7 to July 13: *On July 13, police received numerous reports about a wandering four-year-old boy, who was alone and crossing Hwy #39.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of July 7 to July 13:

*On July 13, police received numerous reports about a wandering four-year-old boy, who was alone and crossing Hwy #39. Patrols located the boy and took him back to his residence and left him in the care of his parents. The boy left the residence without both parents knowing.

* Police patrol found three 17-year-old female residents on the roof of a local business. The females were warned about their actions.

*Police received a report of an intoxicated male at River Park with his pants down around his ankles. Police arrested the 19-year-old male for being intoxicated in public. He was lodged in cells until he sobered.

*On July 11, a local resident reported a burglary. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. Missing is a flat screen television and a Sony Play Station.

*Police began investigating an incident that occurred at a local bar, where a 20-year-old female and a 26-year-old male were involved in a physical altercation. The male is believed to have grabbed the female and then was struck in the face with a bar glass. He received medical attention. The matter is under investigation.

*Police attended the same establishment in regard to a fight involving four males in their 20s and 30s. The incident is under investigation.

*On July 9, patrolling officers conducting a traffic stop were met with a strong odor of cannabis. The 20-year-old driver and registered owner of the vehicle was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act for Possession as well as Criminal Code of Canada charges for breaching his pre-existing Undertaking. In addition, his vehicle was towed from the scene.

*On July 8, two windows were broken on the west side of the Weyburn Junior High School. No entry was gained to the building.

*Police received a report from Weyburn Department of Social Services, that three of their vehicles had antennas damaged or broken. The matter is under investigation.

*On July 7, in the early hours of the morning, police observed a vehicle, with its 'brights' on, drive over a curb. A 28-year-old male intoxicated driver was arrested and refused to provide a breath test. Subsequently, he was charged under the Criminal Code with refusal and impaired driving and also under the Traffic Safety Act for failing to dim headlights when meeting a vehicle. Court is set for later this month.
