Police seek information on pedestrian

The Weyburn Police Service received a report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision that occurred at about 5 p.m. on Thursday at in the 100 block of Government Road. The pedestrian did not remain at the scene.

The Weyburn Police Service received a report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision that occurred at about 5 p.m. on Thursday at in the 100 block of Government Road. The pedestrian did not remain at the scene. The Weyburn police are looking to identify the individual to ensure his safety and wellbeing. City police received a complaint regarding threats being uttered to an individual as the result of what can best be described as a road rage incident at about 6 p.m. on Nov. 28. The matter is still under investigation.
Weyburn police received a call at about 4 p.m. on Nov. 28 regarding a suspected intoxicated individual. The person was located and a 56-year-old male was arrested for being intoxicated in public and held until sober.
Weyburn police conducted a compliance check on Wednesday on an individual serving a Community Sentence Order (jail in the community) to determine compliance with the conditions of the order. As a result, the 29-year-old male was arrested for breaching the order as well as being in possession of cannabis resin. He was remanded in custody.
City police received a call regarding a domestic dispute where one of the people involved had been assaulted at about midnight on Wednesday. The dispute was between a 24-year-old male victim and a 22-year-old female aggressor. The matter is still under investigation.
Weyburn police were dispatched to a report of a domestic dispute at about 6:10 p.m. on Friday, the result of an assault between a 25-year-old male victim and a 20-year-old female assailant. The matter is still under investigation.
A 28-year-old male was charged with driving while suspended as the result of a traffic stop at about 1:50 p.m. on Sunday.
