Polls closed for civic election

The polls have closed for the 2020 civic election in Estevan. The main polling station at the Estevan Church of God was open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. A drive-thru polling station at the Estevan Fire Rescue Service building was open from 11 a.m.

The polls have closed for the 2020 civic election in Estevan.

The main polling station at the Estevan Church of God was open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. A drive-thru polling station at the Estevan Fire Rescue Service building was open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Many residents also voted through advance polls, special polls and mail-in ballots.

Roy Ludwig and Ray Walton are the candidates for mayor, while Blaine Chrest, Lindsay Clark, Rebecca Foord, Travis Frank, Mark Henderson, Tony Sernick, Geoff Thiessen, Shelly Veroba, Kirsten Walliser, Bernadette Wright and Allan Yergens are vying for six councillor seats.
