During Friday and Saturday, August 2 and 3, history will come alive at the village during the Heritage Village Days. Most of the homes and businesses in the village will be open, allowing viewers an opportunity to step back into time, when Weyburn was a young city. There is also a special connection to this year's Heritage Village Days, as it will be held in conjunction with Weyburn's centennial celebrations. Homecoming events for the centennial run from Thursday to Monday, August 1 to 5. Other events include reunions, an art show at the Weyburn Public Library, Crocus 80 Theatre's centennial play, and the Dean Brody concert at Crescent Point Place.
