To thank Weyburn physicians for their dedication to the community and patients, presentations will be made at each of the three medical offices on Monday, July 21 during Physician Appreciation Week.
City of Weyburn Mayor Debra Button and RM of Weyburn Reeve Carmen Sterling will be making the presentions on behalf of the city, RM and Weyburn Physician Recruitment Task Force.
"During Physician Appreciation Week, we say a collective "thank you" to all of Weyburn's dedicated physicians," said Jeff Richards, spokesperson for the Weyburn Physician Recruitment Task Force.
The Weyburn Physician Recruitment Task Force's vision is "to assist in recruitment, relocation and retention of family physicians in order to maintain quality health care in Weyburn." Over the past year, the Task Force has assisted eight new family physicians move to Weyburn.
"These new physicians and the existing physicians are committed to excellence and deliver high-quality care to patients," said Richards.
