This weekend WCS will be playing host to the 2013 Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association's 5A Provincial Boys' Volleyball Championship. Opening ceremonies are Friday at 10:45 in the WCS gym and the first matches are at noon. The WCS Eagles take the court at 1 p.m. against Saskatoon Holy Cross.
Other teams in the tournament are Regina Campbell, Prince Albert Carlton, Meadow Lake Carpenter, Swift Current Comprehensive, Saskatoon Centennial, Regina LeBoldus, Prince Albert St. Mary's and Moose Jaw Central.

The senior girls' volleyball team is in provincials as well in Yorkton.
As soon as this weekend is over athletes will switch gears and start to practice basketball. Wrestling and curling has already started with practices.
Due to construction the annual fall music concerts will take place in different venues. There will be two choral concerts on Tuesday December 10 and 16 at Grace United Church starting at 7:30 p.m. The band concert will be Wednesday December 11 at the Weyburn Junior High and it as well will start at 7:30 p.m. Come out and listen to old favourites and new tunes by one of the best music departments in the province.
The much anticipated WCS Fowl Supper will be postponed until later on in the new year. It will be a fowl supper in the spring.
